Siberian cafe was fined a million dollars for a bribe of candy and alcohol

In Novokuznetsk (Kemerovo oblast) cafe “Nijat” was fined one million rubles for offering the Sheriff a bribe of five thousand rubles, as well as candy and alcohol. About it reports a press-service of the regional Prosecutor’s office.

In September 2016, the cafe was sealed for 90 days by the decision of one of the city courts, his activities were suspended. The next day the employee of the Federal bailiff service (FSSP) asked the representative of the institution and invited to close their eyes to the fact that the cafe will continue to work for a certain gift.

“Bailiff refused and warned that such actions are illegal, but the next day he [the representative of legal person] brought a bag of candy and alcohol and offered five thousand rubles for the resumption of the activities of the cafe”, — noted in Prosecutor’s office.

A man is accused under article “Attempt at petty bribery”. Also, the office of public Prosecutor of Factory area of Novokuznetsk has filed a case of illegal compensation on behalf of a legal entity in respect of LLC “Nijat”. In this case, a judge ordered the owners of the cafe a fine of one million rubles.

In may 2016 in the Kaluga region specialist of Committee of veterinary science of the regional government was convicted of taking bribes in the form of 33 thousand rubles in cash, and two bags of dry food for cats brand cat food $ 1.4 thousand rubles, a bottle of cognac and box of chocolates total cost of about 790 rubles.
