In Crimea tanker fined for violations at the border crossing with Ukraine

The company owner “Metis”, a tanker which, when in a port of Ukraine violated the mode of passing the state border of the Russian Federation, was fined 3.2 million rubles, the press service of the Crimean border guard of FSB of the Russian Federation.

“Metis” is the owner of the oil tanker type “roskem-2”, which after passing through controls to departure for limits of Russia from the port of Kavkaz to the port of Aliaga (Turkey) the next day, going beyond the territorial sea of the Russian Federation, has changed its course and made the transition to the port of Kherson (Ukraine).

“Along the route to a foreign port and back to the ship repeatedly crossed the state border, as on entry and exit from the Russian Federation without notifying border authorities and without passing state control in crossing points than admitted violating Russian law order”, — stated in the message.

On this fact the captain of the tanker was fined 300 thousand rubles. A fine to the company-the shipowner assigned in the amount of 3.2 million rubles.

The guards urge shipowners and officials of the crews to observe the procedures, rules and current legislation of the Russian Federation in the border sphere.
