In the Khabarovsk Krai will be engaged in catching of tigers that are attacking dogs in the village Kutuzovka in Lazo district. About it RIA Novosti on Monday, March 13, reported in the regional Ministry of environment.
Head of Department of preservation of objects of fauna of the regional Department Yuri Kolpak said that, though, on catching predators received permission, he hopes “that they will be able to scare them away, and they will go into the forest”. If animals can catch, they will be put in a rehabilitation center “Utes”.
It is noted that we are talking about the tigress and her two year old cub. Because of them in the village killed three dogs.
Previously Director of the far Eastern branch of the Center “Amur tiger” Sergei Aramilev admitted that the reason for this behaviour was the age of the tiger, which felt independent and accustomed to the easy prey.
In the village of Kutuzovka has about 110 people.
In January 2016 in Nadezhdinsky district of Primorye Amur tiger attacked him, shot at hunter. 53-year-old man suffered wounds to the head and neck, he had to have surgery.
