The film crew of TV channel “Star” decided to check the statements of the Ukrainian authorities that Russia is “selected” in addition to the Crimea Navy of Ukraine.
The only submarine “Zaporozhye” which were part of the Ukrainian Navy, it looks depressing: faulty appliances, rusted hull and the engines, which have not run in years. So she drowned, it had to be welded to metal supports. To get to it is impossible to approach and allowed for not more than one hundred meters. The submarine is soon 50 years old, and her combat and running capabilities are outdated.
For comparison, next to the “lions” of the Russian diesel-electric submarine of the latest generation of the project “warszawianka”, armed with “Gauges”. NATO sailors called them “black holes” for body color and silent operation.
“If the ship does not go to sea at least six months – is scrap! Black sea fleet have now advanced ships, which are neither in any of their hardware don’t need! Ukrainian ships have long been scrapped, left them only because they are not efficient and not maintainable”, – told Vice-Admiral, chief of staff, first Deputy commander of the black sea fleet in 1992-1997 Peter Svyatashov.
Next to the submarine are the Ukrainian ships, “luck”,”Ternopil” and “Konstantin Olshansky”, which, according to the commander of the Ukrainian Navy, “Russia dismantle for parts”. Experts, however, argue the opposite – these ships not fit for sea voyages, and their parts – even for spare parts.
“These ships for the Russian Navy is not necessary in any form. They are extremely worn and have no value, they are outdated,” said military expert Konstantin Sivkov.
