Poll: most Americans disapprove of trump against Russia

More than half of Americans believe that the administration of U.S. President Donald trump has a policy against Russia improperly. This is evidenced by published on Wednesday the results of a public opinion poll conducted by the American Quinnipac University.

The researchers found that 54% of respondents said they are dissatisfied with Washington’s policy towards Moscow, approved it 32%, it’s mostly Republicans. The rest were unable or refused to answer. What exactly does not suit the research participants policy trump in the materials was not specified.

More than half the investigation

The University also asked the respondents to answer the following question: “To what extent are you concerned about the relationship of the President with the trump of Russia.” 41% chose the option “very concerned” and 20% “somewhat concerned”, 16% admitted that they do not especially excited, and 22% indicated that this topic they are not interested. The rest did not answer.

From materials follows that 66% of respondents were in favour of the establishment of an independent Commission that would have investigated allegations that the people around trump during the election campaign was in contact with officials of the Russian Federation. In addition, study participants were asked about their attitude to the allegations, if Russia interfered in the election processes in the United States. 42% indicated that they consider this topic very important, 20% called it “somewhat important” and 12% “not very important”, 23% considered that it absolutely does not deserve attention.

The opinion of the head of the Ministry of justice

Respondents were asked to indicate their attitude towards the recent scandal surrounding the attorney General and Minister of justice Jeff and Roman sessions. The Democratic party accused him of misinforming legislators at a hearing in the Senate judiciary Committee of the U.S. Congress. They were devoted to the consideration of candidacies and Roman sessions for the post of head of the Ministry of justice.

Sessions at the hearing stated that he had no contacts with the Russian officials during last year’s election campaign, but later, the Washington Post reported on the meetings and Roman sessions with the Russian Ambassador to the USA Sergey Kislyak.

52% of respondents were confident that the sessions had lied under oath, 40% believe that he just didn’t make myself clear; not answered 8%. For the resignation of the Minister of spoke 51% of respondents, mostly Democrats. That sessions remained at his post, – 42% no answer 7%.

The study was conducted by telephone across the country in the period from 2 to 6 March 1323 among Americans eligible to vote.

Speculation Democrats

The opposition Democratic party of the United States and close to media for a few months trying to inflate the scandal of the speculation that Russia intervened in the election process in the United States on the side of trump.
