Office ethics are unhappy that the White house did not punish the adviser to trump

WASHINGTON, Mar 10 — RIA Novosti, Alexei Bogdanovsky. The independent ethics office in the US government is unhappy that presidential Advisor Donald trump, Kellyann Conway has not been punished for advertising the brand of clothing, named after the daughter of the President Ivanka trump.

“If you do not take disciplinary action against senior officials under the same circumstances, it causes a risk of undermining the entire program on ethics,” reads the letter head of the ethics office Walter Schaub Deputy White house counsel Stephen Passantino, quoted by Reuters.

Earlier, Schaub saw in the words of Conway conflict of interest and violation of ethical standards. Schaub is an appointee of the previous President, Democrat Barack Obama.

The white house said earlier that Conway had “acted unintentionally and with a very unlikely to repeat anything like that.” With Conway “had the appropriate conversations”, said the White house.
