Constitutional court of South Korea approved the impeachment of the President

TOKYO, Mar 10 — RIA Novosti. Constitutional court of South Korea approved the impeachment of President Park Geun-Hye, passed by Parliament on 9 December last year amid the biggest corruption scandal.

The CC decision was announced on Friday in a live South Korean TV channel YTN. All 8 judges of the constitutional court voted in favor of impeachment.

Park Geun-Hye is now completely removed from government, and within 60 days should be held early presidential elections.

If not impeachment, then the President’s term of office was to expire in February 2018, and the election was to be held on 20 December this year.

The reason for impeachment, Park Geun-Hye was caught in the media that she is allowed to intervene in the Affairs of state to his nearest friend by the name of Choi sung-SIL, allegedly, up to and solve personnel issues.
