Two frigates with new anti-aircraft missile and artillery system will receive the Russian Navy until 2021.

MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. The Russian Navy until the end of 2020 will receive two project 22350 frigate with a new anti-aircraft missile and artillery system with multiple types of guided missiles. This was announced by Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu on a conference call.

The “third thematic issue dedicated to the creation of anti-aircraft missile and artillery systems and anti-aircraft missile complex long-range. Until the end of 2020 in the composition of the Navy will include two of the newest frigate of project 22350, are equipped with modern strike complexes “Caliber” and “Onyx”. Air defence of these ships should provide new anti-aircraft missile and artillery system with multiple types of guided missiles”, – he told on air “Russia 24”.
