Russia considers necessary the participation of the Kurds and representatives of the “Astana platform” of the Syrian opposition in the talks on Syria. This was announced by Russia’s permanent representative to the UN office at Geneva Alexei Borodavkin, reports TASS.

He expressed regret that the fourth round of negotiations in Geneva, they were not invited. According to him, were not invited “many others dear to Syria’s opposition.”

“The resolution 2254 of the UN Security Council prescribed to the delegation of the opposition was more broadly representative. “Er-redsky”, “Moscow” and “Cairo” of the group, even taken together, do not represent the whole spectrum of the Syrian opposition,” he said.

Earlier it was reported that Russia called on the Syrian opposition to carry out the disengagement from terrorists.
