NYT: trump’s son-in-law also met with the Russian Ambassador

Son-in-law of U.S. President Donald trump and his senior Advisor Jared Kushner in company with former national security Advisor Michael Flynn met with the Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergei Kislyak. This writes The New York Times.

The meeting was held in December in the tower trump tower. According to the newspaper, it was held that “establish communication channel”. A White house spokesman Hop Hicks confirmed that the meeting was attended by Flynn.

“In General, they discussed relations and was the point to establish the communication channel. Jared met with many representatives of other countries – in General, about two dozen people,” said Hicks.

Kushner, Flynn and Kislyak talked for 20 minutes, after which the son-in-law trump met with the Russian diplomat.

At the same time, the newspaper USA Today reported that two members of the electoral headquarters of the trump met with Kislyak – Jeffrey Gordon and Carter Paige. The theme of their talks was not disclosed.

Earlier, U.S. attorney General Jeff sessions recused himself in the investigation of relationships trump with Russia for a meeting with the Russian Ambassador.
