KHANTY MANSIYSK, March 3 — RIA Novosti. In New Urengoy opened a criminal case against a local resident, who stole a car to get out of the snow they hijacked the SUV, told RIA Novosti press-service of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Yamal.
The incident, according to the Agency, took place on 1 March. Local police Department received two reports from residents who said about the theft of their cars.
“It was established that unknown persons stole the SUV, which was parked near the house owner. Stuck in the snow car, the police found in the neighbouring streets. As it turned out, the attacker was trying to get out of the snow and the stolen car for this wrongfully took possession of a nearby car UAZ. After an unsuccessful attempt the thief left in the domestic SUV”, — told in Department of the interior.
The police detained on suspicion of hijacking a local resident who was previously convicted for a similar crime.
“In addition, a medical examination it was established that 30-the summer man at the moment of Commission of crime was in an alcohol intoxication”, — said the Agency. In this regard, he was sentenced to 10 days imprisonment. On the fact of theft criminal case is brought.
