MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. Russia urges to engage in the discussion of the Syrian Constitution, not a question of regime change in Damascus. This was stated to journalists by the Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov.
“We are not opposed to the Astana process negotiations in Geneva and specifically the “Geneva-4″, which was still running,” the diplomat said. “We did it, I think it’s recognized, together with colleagues from Turkey and Iran to hold a series of activities that allowed first of all to strengthen the cessation of hostilities, that is, the situation on the ground has significantly improved,” – said Ryabkov.
