Medvedev: no one will come to the aid of Russia

Russia no help in the competition, the Russians will have to seek their own – this statement was made by Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev. His words RIA Novosti reported.

“We at some point thought that will help us in the competition. Nobody, of course, does not help. Absolutely. Just stick in the wheel will be put. Therefore, do not give, as in the famous classic novel. Our objective is for ourselves to achieve all this. In this respect, today we have a unique situation — we can achieve a great deal themselves, if we work together,” — said Medvedev.

His statement Medvedev made during a Russian investment forum in Sochi. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that “it is very good” citizens “lost illusions,” as it is “useful for the whole country.”

In connection with the conflict in Ukraine and joining the Russian Crimea, the European Union, the USA and several other countries have imposed sanctions against Russia. In response, Russian authorities imposed a food restrictive measures and announced a policy of import substitution.

Crimea became part of Russia in March 2014.
