Nearly a thousand students were trained school counselors on the basis of pedagogical universities of Moscow region. This was reported on the website of the regional government on Monday, June 26.
“In 2017, in pedagogical higher education institutions of the Moscow region trained 968 students of pedagogical specialties to work in children’s recreation camps. Training school counselors includes theoretical and practical training”, — said the first Deputy Chairman of the government of the Moscow region Olga Zabralova.
She said that students worked as counselors in suburban children’s camps and day camps at schools.
On may 29 the Governor of Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov has proposed to simplify entry into the market of children’s leisure. He also recalled that in the suburbs, work 87 health camps, in which every year rest approximately 110 thousand children.
A few days before the Minister of social development of the Moscow region Irina Raevska said that the region plans to open an additional nine rehabilitation centres. In the health campaign from the consolidated oblast budget allocated about 1.5 billion rubles.
