The foreign Minister of Germany Sigmar Gabriel will visit on June 28 in Krasnodar, will discuss with Russian partners political issues and issues of interaction of civil societies, told RIA Novosti the head of the Department of culture and communication of the German foreign Ministry Andreas Gergen.
“(Sigmar) Gabriel goes on the 28th to Krasnodar,” — said the Agency interlocutor.
He noted that in Krasnodar the head of the foreign Ministry will discuss with the Russian partners “political” issues and “civil society”.
Speaking about cultural cooperation between Russia and Germany Gergen said that “every year it goes more and more actively”.
Previously Director of third European Department of Russian foreign Ministry Sergei Nechaev has told RIA Novosti that plan at the end of June in Krasnodar the talks between the foreign Ministers of Russia and Germany Sergey Lavrov and Sigmar Gabriel, will probably be discussed the Syrian crisis and the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
From 28 to 30 June 2017 in Krasnodar scheduled the next Russian-German Conference of cities-partners. In the years 2017-2018 will cross the Russian-German Year of regional-municipal partnerships under the auspices of the foreign Ministers of the two countries. The upcoming meeting with Gabriel has confirmed Lavrov. The Russian Minister noted that “we have Sigmar Gabriel have a tradition together to participate in events organised by Russian and German businessmen.”
