“Ash emission at Shiveluch occurred on Monday morning local time. Ash plume extends in a South-Eastern direction from the volcano. In the village of Ust-Kamchatsk, which is located at a distance of 90 kilometers from the giant, recorded a slight loss of ash to 1 millimeter,” — said in the message.
Rescuers emphasize that villagers alerted of the danger through the speakers. They are recommendations for rules of conduct during palapala.
“In case of strengthening of palapala in the village there is a sufficient number of respirators and gauze bandages. If necessary, they will be issued to the villagers,” — noted in the MOE.
In rescue Ministry does not rule out the possibility that ash cloud will reach the Aleutian district. The inhabitants of this area is recommended when loss of ash not to go out.
The Shiveluch assigned the highest — red code aviation hazard. This means that small particles of ash from Shiveluch can get into the mechanisms flying aircraft and helicopters. International route air traffic around the volcano Shiveluch are not. The leaders of the local aviation companies warned about possible dangers and the need to change the route.
