Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin told journalists opinion on the last 12 June in Tverskaya street the unsanctioned rally of supporters of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, reports “Interfax” on Tuesday, June 13.
“This is a despicable and dangerous provocation. Only by miracle nobody has suffered”, — said the mayor.
Sobyanin stressed that the security forces acted professionally, as the protesters “acted aggressively”. According to him, on Tverskaya street at this time were 270 thousand of Muscovites and guests of the capital, celebrating the Day of Russia.
Earlier in the Kremlin said that such “provocative manifestations of” threat only for the people around them. By itself, the protests are made at agreed meetings, according to the press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, “this is a normal process, when people take a civic stand”.

In an unauthorized rally on Tverskaya street, which at that time held the festival of re-enactors, according to official data, attended by 4.5 thousand people. Arrested were 150 of them.
