More than 30 injured are in hospitals in Buryatia Republic and Chita. Some of them are already operated. Some are on conservative treatment.
The bus with Orthodox pilgrims, who were returning to Chita after a trip to the Holy places, fell from an embankment near the village of Hohoto on the night of June 12. There were 51 people. 10 people died at the scene, later died in hospitals two more. Many of the injured are in very serious condition.
In relation to the driver of the vehicle initiated a criminal case under article 264 of the criminal code (“Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles”). The investigative Committee conducts a review under article 238 (“Rendering services not meeting safety requirements”) and article 293 (“the Negligence”) the criminal code of the Russian Federation.
