The son of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi released. On Saturday, June 10, reports channel Al Jazeera.

Captured Gaddafi was in November 2011, when heading toward the border with neighboring Niger.

In July 2016, the lawyers Gaddafi said on his release from captivity. Later this information was refuted.

Seif al-Islam Gaddafi was sentenced to death in July 2015 a court in Tripoli, which found him guilty in the brutal suppression of the uprising, which brought an end to the reign of his father in 2011.

Charges Gaddafi’s son for crimes against humanity, in turn, has nominated the international criminal court (ICC). In the fall of 2015 the ICC Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda announced the application against him of torture.
