Medvedev said the deadline for the construction of the first stage Central ring road

The completion of the first stage Central ring road (CRR) moved for 2019, but delays should not be. On Friday, June 9, said Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, reports TASS.

“This is the final deadline — colleagues assured me that it is realistic and everything will be done in this period”, — stressed the head of government at a meeting on the construction of ring road in the suburbs.

The Prime Minister also said that he had signed a decree of corrective rules for the allocation of money for the maintenance and repair of Federal roads. According to him, these changes “will increase the interval between major overhauls that will save money, according to calculations of the Ministry of transport, about 15 billion rubles a year”.

The construction of the Central ring road around 50 kilometers from Moscow is one of the priority public infrastructure projects. Its construction is part five launch complexes. One of them will be from the Minsk highway to M10 on the territories of Moscow, Naro-Fominsk, Odintsovo, Istra and Solnechnogorsk districts and the Zvenigorod. The total length of this section of the CRR is more than 76 kilometers, of which 28 — the new way.

To complete the construction in Moscow of the first stage Central ring road previously planned in 2018.
