According to Zhigarev, resources to increase food aid should be. “We’re running out rearmament program next year, so this will free up funds. In addition, in Russia there is economic growth in several areas, this should also increase the budget revenues and, accordingly, will have the opportunity to spend money on social support”, — said the Deputy.
Earlier, on 6 June, the head of industry and trade Denis Manturov said that in the framework of food aid to the poor Russians can get about 10 thousand rubles per year. He said that the payments on the card will be conducted on a monthly basis.
In April, the Deputy head of the Ministry of industry and trade Viktor Evtukhov noted that the project will cost the government 300 billion rubles. He also said that to run it before 2018 will fail due to the lack of budget funds.
On the issue of ration cards, the Ministry first announced in 2015. Running the program since then has been repeatedly postponed due to lack of money. The program cost was initially estimated at 240 billion rubles.
