Police have started investigation into the murder of a five year old boy originally from Russia, which occurred on 3 June in a shelter for refugees in the community Arnsberg in the South of Germany. This is stated in a press release published on the website of the Bavarian police.
Security forces have confirmed information that the victim’s mother, 47-year-old Russian citizen, was seriously injured and survived. She’s hospitalized.
The suspect, 41-year-old Afghan who was shot dead by law enforcement officers. The police said that a refugee, whose motives have not yet been able to establish, grabbed the boy and stabbed him with a knife a mortal wound, after which badly cut his mother. The attack happened in front of another child of the woman who remained unharmed, but were shocked. In the same condition is one of the police officers.
