Tourists banned to take pictures of the village in Switzerland because of its beauty
The administration of the Swiss village of Bergün decided to ban travellers taking pictures of the settlement, as it believes the native species too beautiful. About it reports the local tourist office.
For the introduction of such a ban, the Council of the village of Bergün located in the mountains in Eastern Switzerland, voted on Monday, may 29. “It is scientifically proven that beautiful vacation photos posted in social networks, make those who see them, miserable as these people themselves are not in the wrong place”, — stated in the message the tourist office.

The mayor of the village Peter Nicholas (Peter Nicolay) urged tourists to come to Bergün to see for themselves the beauty of the species. The tourist office had already deleted the pictures of the village from their social media accounts. Those who will take pictures of Bergün, now faces a fine of five euros.
Director of tourism of Bergün Marc-Andrea Barandun (Marc-Andrea Barandun) in conversation with the portal, The Local has recognized that such a ban is partly a promotional gimmick designed to attract attention to the village. However, he stressed that such a rule is not a joke, it really is approved by the local authority. Brandon added that the penalty is unlikely to apply in practice.
