Russia is interested to discuss with Qatar to assess the situation in Syria, said on Saturday, Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a meeting with Qatari counterpart Mohammed Rahman al-Thani.
“We are pleased to welcome You to Moscow. In this very dense time in international relations it is important not to lose momentum in order to discuss bilateral agreements and, of course, our cooperation on international Affairs especially in the Middle East and North Africa… of Course, we are especially interested to compare our assessment of efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis, in which the efforts of Qatar plays a very important role,” said Lavrov.
