STOCKHOLM, 23 Mar — RIA Novosti. The European broadcasting Union (EBU) suggested that the First channel to arrange the satellite broadcast of the speech of Yulia Samoilova, which banned entry to Ukraine that she was able to participate in the contest “Eurovision-2017,” according to a statement posted on the competition website.
“EVEY worked hard to find a solution to this situation and took the unprecedented decision to offer the First channel to hold a live broadcast of the second semi-final via satellite to give Yulia the opportunity to take part in the competition this year”, — stated in the message text.
The first channel is still not commented on this information.
Russia at the contest “Eurovision-2017” should be the singer Yulia Samoilova with a song about love the Flame Is Burning.
On Wednesday, the security Service of Ukraine has banned Samoilova entry into the country for three years because of her performances in the Crimea. Russian “First channel” expressed regret that Ukraine “did not have enough common sense to look in a civilized manner” when deciding on the ban on entry Samoilova.
