The Russian President signed the decree on joining some units of the armed forces (AF)South Ossetia into the Russian armed forces. The document was published on the Internet-portal of legal information.
“Accept the offer of the Government of the Russian Federation on signing the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia on the order of occurrence of the individual units of the Armed forces of the Republic of South Ossetia in the composition of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation”, — the document says.
With the authorities of the Republic further talks will be held, after which the parties are expected to sign the agreement. Negotiations with the Russian side will be lead by representatives of the Ministry of defence and the Ministry of internal Affairs.
