The Moscow city court confirmed the legality of the inclusion of the Levada-center in the register of non-profit organisations registered as foreign agents. About it reports “Interfax”.
“The decision of the Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow on November 18, 2016 to the administrative claim of the Autonomous nonprofit organization “Analytical center of Yury Levada” to the Ministry of justice of Russia to leave without change, the appeal – without satisfaction”, – is spoken in the decree of the Moscow city court.
The Deputy Director of the Levada center Alexei Grazhdankin said that the centre intends to seek removal from the register of registered as foreign agents. According to him, until that time, the organization will work in the framework of the legislation on NGOs.
