Putin has promised to lift the ban on the recruitment of Turkish workers in Russia

After a meeting with President of Turkey Tayyip Erdogan Vladimir Putin has promised to lift the ban on recruitment of labour from Turkey to Russia. According to him, the ban should be lifted in the near future.

Prohibition of involvement as hired workers of Turkish citizens came into force on 1 January 2016. This sanction was imposed after the attack on the Russian su-24 in Syria.
