Argentina approved the Russian Sputnik Light vaccine as a stand-alone drug
Argentina approved the Russian Sputnik Light vaccine as a stand-alone drug and as a booster vaccine. This is stated on the Twitter account of Sputnik V.
According to the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Sputnik V vaccination in Argentina has played a key role in the fight against the increase in the incidence of coronavirus and mortality from COVID-19. In 4 months from June to October 2021, the number of diseases decreased 35 times.
On November 23, Laos approved the use of the Russian Sputnik Light coronavirus vaccine. Thus, already 21 countries have approved the use of the drug. The Ministry of Industry and Trade claims that the current volume of vaccine production is sufficient both for its own needs and for export. At the same time, the official asserted that “there is no point in further dispersing.” Sputnik V and Sputnik Light account for the bulk of production.
