A married couple from the British city of Stockton, who suffers from down syndrome, was forbidden to kiss in a local youth club JK Club.
According to representatives of the institution, such behavior within their walls is unacceptable. The parents of 30-year-old Nicky and 23-year-old Samantha outraged and intend to open their own club, reports the Metro.
According to the mother of Samantha, her daughter and Niki have been friends since childhood.
“They started to get closer when Sammy turned 18. Soon they were married. Yeah, you’re not much when you’re young, but adults should not be such restrictions,” — said the Briton.
The woman said that her and her friends went to the same youth club when they were 23-24 years old.
“There could always kiss and hug. I don’t understand why forbid it to do for our children. Just because they’re not like the others”, — surprised woman.
According to her, Niki and Samantha are the permanent members of the JK Club. The Briton said that after the ban, they are seriously thinking about how to run a place where everyone will be happy.
