Manfred Weber: if Russia attacks Ukraine, the end of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline 
Head of the European People's Party faction (EPP) in the European Parliament Manfred Weber threatened to end Nord Stream 2 in the event of an armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine. His words are quoted by the newspaper Handelsblatt.
Weber considers the real threat of an invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops. According to him, the current situation is “a test for NATO and the Western community.” and called on the German government to clearly outline the consequences for Moscow.
On December 4, American intelligence “discovered” that Russia was planning an invasion of Ukraine, and drew up a map of an offensive on several fronts.
In the Kremlin in response to the “hysteria” whipped up in the media, they said that Russia was not going to attack anyone. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
The Russian Embassy also stated that Russia does not pose a threat to any country. At the same time, NATO is “recklessly” moving its troops to the Russian borders. “The deployment of Russian troops on national territory is our sovereign right. This does not concern anyone, “they added.
