Irish UFC fighter Conor McGregor was not against a fight with Khamzat Chimaev
Irish mixed style fighter (MMA) Conor McG interested in a duel against a Swede of Chechen origin Khamzat Chimaev. The post is available on Twitter.
The 33-year-old Irishman reacted to the statement of Nate Diaz, who refused a potential fight against the Chechen. The American harshly admitted that Chimaev could become McGregor's first rival after the latter's return to the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) octagon.
“No problem, bitch,” McGregor commented on Diaz's statement. In the comments to the post, Chimaev left approving emoticons.
UFC head Dana White, in turn, noted that he was counting on a duel between Chimaev and Diaz. The Chechen fighter has repeatedly challenged the stars of the organization, including McGregor, to a duel.
Chimaev has four wins in four UFC fights. McGregor is recovering from an injury he sustained against Dustin Poirier in July. The Irishman is expected to return in the spring of 2022.
