An exhibition “Chemistry was, but we parted” was opened in the Moscow metro
An exhibition of an all-Russian project to support women with oncological diseases was opened in the Moscow metro. You can see photographs of women who have survived or are going through oncology at the Kashirskaya metro station until December 31.
The photo exhibition is based on 40 portraits of women from 18 to 70 years old from different regions of Russia and other countries. You can learn more about the heroines and their stories of struggling with a terrible disease, as well as see “come to life” photographs by pointing your smartphone at QR codes located on some exhibits. Also, within the framework of the project, all women can share their experience of life with oncology on the website moyafototherapy.rf.
“Starting the project“ Chemistry was, but we parted, ”I wanted to show how many women among us have survived or surviving oncological diseases. In the course of interviews with the heroines, I learned terrible things: how they hid the diagnosis from their relatives, how they were fired from their jobs, how their husbands left them at the moment when these women most needed support. This exhibition for us is an opportunity to give these women a voice, to tell the whole world about their courage, strength and beauty, “- emphasized the importance of the project, its author Olga Pavlova.
” Moscow transport is always ready to join important social projects. We have the opportunity to provide information support, because the city transport of Moscow is used by millions of people every day. Oncological diseases take a person by surprise. It is necessary that at this moment someone is nearby who will help to cope with the disaster. At this moment, it is very important to realize that you are not alone, ”said Alena Eremina, head of the Moscow Transport Information Center.
In 2022, exhibitions will be held in Tatarstan and Bashkortostan. It is also planned to launch the project in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Surgut and other regions of Russia.
