In Moscow, the winners #WEVMESTE of the track “Volunteers and NGOs” in the nomination “Green Country” were announced

The winners and laureates of the award were awarded by the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy Artem Metelev and Senior Vice President of the VEB.RF asset management unit Anton Grigorov.
The first place in the “Green Country” nomination was taken by the #YaBeregu project. Its creator, Anna Chigarina from Moscow, develops an infrastructure for the collection and proper disposal of personal protective equipment and involves residents in this process. For example, more than 100 branded containers have been installed in three cities.
Sofia Vavilova from Primorsky Krai took the second place with the “Separate Collection in Vladivostok” project. All collected recyclable materials are transferred to procurement companies and processors. The number of participants at the promotions exceeded 1500.
The third place was taken by the project “Clean Games Kazan”. Maxim Antonov from Tatarstan suggested holding ecological games that allow participants to contribute to environmental protection and learn the basics of separate waste collection. The goal of the game is to collect the maximum amount of garbage. Subsequently, the garbage is transferred to recycling. Over the past four years, 22 games were held in Tatarstan, in which more than 5000 people took part.
The winners of the track “Volunteers and NGOs” will receive a grant for the implementation of their initiative up to 2.5 million rubles, the opportunity to participate in an educational internship mobility programs, media support from the autonomous non-profit organization “National Priorities” and award partners, promotion of social advertising on leading platforms and participation in the accelerator from the “Institute for Internet Development”. They will also be provided with publication in a special collection, support and completion of the educational program in the workshop of the Senezh management in 2022. In addition, a trip to Russia and many other bonuses from the platform “Another thing” and “Russia is a country of opportunities” were prepared for the winners.
