Together with the research center ResearchMe, the social network found out how the attitude of the country's residents to the budget for gifts has changed compared to last year.
According to the survey, this year people plan their budget for New Year's gifts much better: only 8 percent of respondents found it difficult to answer how much they are willing to spend for the New Year holidays. Last year, the number of undecided was 20 percent.
More than three thousand rubles are ready to spend on gifts 46 percent of respondents, every fifth (25 percent) – from three to five thousand rubles, 11 percent – from seven to nine thousand rubles, and 5 percent – more than nine thousand rubles.
< p> Almost half of Russians (45 percent) plan to buy gifts in regular stores, 34 percent – in supermarkets, 26 percent – in online marketplaces and online stores. When choosing gifts, respondents most often pay attention to benefit (58 percent), cost (43 percent), originality (38 percent) and appearance (23 percent).
Social networks have become a tool for many allows you to congratulate friends and acquaintances with whom it is impossible to meet in person. More than half (54 percent) of those who use social networks for congratulations send postcards, 49 percent prefer to accompany their congratulations with a virtual gift.
The list of desired gifts in 2021 has remained almost unchanged compared to 2020. The top 5 included: money (30 percent), electronics (18 percent) and smartphones (18 percent), cosmetics, perfumery and personal care products (16 percent) and travel (15 percent).
