ATOR: from December 6, foreign tourists arriving in Cyprus will have to pass a PCR test

The Cypriot authorities announced tougher entry rules for foreign travelers against the background of the spread of a new strain of coronavirus omicron. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) writes about this on Friday, December 3.

From December 6, all tourists over 12 years old arriving in the republic, regardless of vaccination status and country of departure, will have to hand over to the airport upon arrival PCR test for COVID-19. The cost of the study for air passengers will be 15 euros (1.2 thousand rubles). In case of a positive test result, vacationers should go to a two-week quarantine at their own expense.

It is noted that the tightening of entry rules for foreigners will be in effect until at least January 10, after which the decision may be revised taking into account the epidemiological situation in the country.
