In the military Lyceum of Kyiv are going to dismantle the monument to Russian military leader Alexander Suvorov, this is reported by Ukrainian “Vesti”.
“We are preparing to move the monument in the back yard”, – told in the administration of the institution. In the Lyceum did not specify who initiated the dismantling of the monument to the leadership of the military institutions or the Ukrainian military.
Currently the monument stands on the old place, in front of the main entrance to the Lyceum, but he was draped backdrop with the image of Ivan Bohun, a supporter of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and the participant’s uprising.
Also the edition notes that the news about the dismantling of the monument to the Russian commander actively discussed in social networks, the cadets and graduates of the Kiev military Lyceum, and in the discussions there is a negative assessment of the administration of the institution.
