A man was arrested in Irkutsk for planting a homemade bomb in an elevator 
In Irkutsk, a man was arrested who blew up his neighbor's apartment in an elevator. He was charged with a felony. This is reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee.
The attacker is accused of attempted murder committed in a generally dangerous way. According to the investigation, on November 30, due to personal hostility towards another tenant, the Russian placed a homemade bomb in the elevator and launched it when a neighbor entered the cabin. As a result, there was a pop, the passenger was injured and was taken to the hospital.
It soon became clear that the victim's father was in fact the object of the man's attention. During searches in the attacker's apartment and garage, they found “various items of interest to the investigation.” As a result, the man was taken into custody, he was arrested until January 30, 2022.
The incident took place in a residential building on Marshal Konev Street. According to preliminary data, having planted the bomb, the man wanted to take revenge on his neighbor for noisy repairs. As a result of the explosion, the lift began to move uncontrollably at the level of the sixth floor and stopped at the third.
