In Moscow, the court extended until March 5 the term for the arrest of the husband of the ex-deputy head of the Ministry of Education Rakova
in custody of Artur Stetsenko, the husband of the former Deputy Minister of Education Marina Rakova, in a fraud case. This was reported to “Lente.ru” in the press service of the court.
At the request of the investigation, a resolution was issued to extend the arrest period for the person involved in the case until March 5, 2022.
Earlier, on December 2, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the presentation of a new charge of fraud by the ex-Deputy Minister of Rakova in the framework of a criminal case on the fictitious employment of her husband. According to the investigation, she, in the post of general director of the Fund for New Forms of Education Development, issued Stetsenko using forged documents, who from 2017 to 2019 received nine million rubles as a salary, without fulfilling his labor obligations.
Rakova submitted to the fund forged time sheets, payrolls and accounting documents with false information about Stetsenko's performance of his official duties and additional work.
Stetsenko was arrested on October 6 for a period until December 5.
On November 19, Rakova was charged with a new episode: fraud related to fictitious employment of people at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Civil Service (RANEPA). She does not admit her guilt.
