The most expensive used cars in Russia are named

Autostat: in 2021 used cars from Infiniti and MINI went up the most brands Infiniti, MINI, BMW and Renault, Azat Timerkhanov, head of the press service of the analytical agency Avtostat, told Forbes. Experts have analyzed the cost of cars aged 3 and 5 years.

Among the three-year-old cars, the Infiniti Q50 sedan grew the most in price – by 69 percent. MINI Clubman JCW was named the leader of growth – the crossover has risen in price by 46 percent. The cost of the compact MPV BMW 2-Series Active Tourer and the Renault Kaptur crossover increased by 34 percent.

The popular used models Hyundai Solaris and Creta, as well as the Volkswagen Polo, added 18 percent in price, and the Kia Rio – all 23 percent. Russian LADA Vesta and Granta sedan have risen in price by 16 percent. The most stable were the prices for Toyota Camry, Honda Pilot and UAZ Patriot (+9 percent for each model).

Five-year-old cars have increased in price even more. The most expensive from January to November were LADA Priora and Opel Mokka (both +83 percent). BMW M5 rose in price by 56 percent, Toyota Avensis – by 50 percent, Mercedes-Benz A-Class – by 38 percent.

Among used models with the highest demand, Avtostat singled out Kia Sportage with an increase of 26 percent , Ford Focus (+20 percent), Volkswagen Tiguan (+20 percent), Skoda Octavia (+19 percent), Renault Duster (+17 percent), LADA Largus and XRAY (both +16 percent), Nissan Qashqai (+15 percent ). The least rise in price for the “five-year” Volvo S60, Suzuki SX4, Volkswagen Touareg (all +7 percent), Renault Logan (+9 percent) and Toyota Corolla (+10 percent).

In November, researchers from “ Avito.Avto “said that prices for used cars under the age of seven in Russia rose by almost one and a half times – in January-October, cars rose by 42 percent compared to the same period last year. The reason for the rise in prices is the shortage of new cars against the backdrop of the crisis in the supply of electronic auto components.
