The EU will allocate 50 million euros to Kiev, Tbilisi and Chisinau to support defense capabilities 
The European Union (EU) has decided to allocate Moldova from the extra-budgetary European Peace Fund more than 50 million euros to support its defense potential. This was announced by the EU Council, RIA Novosti reports.
Tbilisi will receive 12.75 million euros within three years, Chisinau – 7 million, Kiev – 31 million euros. Another 24 million euros will be allocated to support peace and stability in Mali.
“These measures are aimed at strengthening the capabilities of recipient countries in the military and defense fields in order to strengthen peace and stability,” the EU said in a statement .
Earlier, Deputy Head of the State Department for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland named the conditions for Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO. According to her, Ukraine must carry out deep and comprehensive reforms of its entire system.
