Most of the Afghan population will face hunger in winter. This development of the situation in the country was predicted by the Afghan Ambassador to Russia Said Tayeb Javad in an interview with the TASS agency.
According to the diplomat, after the seizure of power by the militants of the radical Taliban movement (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) hard days have come for the inhabitants of the republic. “We are faced with an acute food shortage and economic collapse, despair, hopelessness,” he said.
