FSB detained two SBU agents for collecting classified data

FSB detained SBU agents for collecting data on Russian strategic objects security of Ukraine (SBU). This is reported by TASS.

According to the intelligence service, they were collecting material about strategically important Russian enterprises. In the car of the detainees, operatives found short-barreled and automatic weapons and personal protective equipment.

During interrogation, the father and son admitted that they had been recruited by Colonel Vasyl Kovalik, an active employee of the SBU department in the Ternopil region. They were promised ten thousand dollars for their work.

Earlier it was reported that the ex-mayor of the Crimean village of Simeiz, Yuri Lomenko, was arrested for espionage in favor of the SBU. According to the investigation, he was collecting secret information, being the director of external relations of the Yalta-Intourist hotel.
