The Russian stock market opened with the fall of the main stock indexes on Thursday, December 2. At the opening of the main trading session on the Moscow Exchange, the Moscow Exchange index dropped to 3941.32 points (minus 0.45 percent), the RTS index – to 1679.06 points (minus 0.48 percent).

Despite the fall indices, out of 15 blue chips of the Moscow Exchange, only two were in the red – shares of Polymetal fell to 1,337.4 rubles per share (minus 0.23 percent), Magnit – to 5758.5 ​​rubles (minus 0.16 percent ). Most of all the securities rose in price for Surgutneftegaz (plus 1.34 percent, to 37.505 rubles per share), Tatneft (plus 1.26 percent, to 483.9 rubles) and Rosneft (plus 1.14 percent, to 576 , 45 rubles).

The price of oil, after falling the day before, went up again. Brent cost $ 70.28 per barrel (plus 2.05 percent), WTI – $ 66.89 (plus 2.04 percent). Gas futures traded at $ 1,100 per barrel.
