Kyle Rittenhouse announced that he would destroy the rifle with which he killed two BLM activists the AR-15 rifle, with which he shot two BLM activists in August 2020. An 18-year-old young man said this in an interview on the Charlie Kirk show.

Also during the interview, the presenter once again touched on the trial of Kyle, during which Kenosha County Attorney Thomas Binger picked up that very Rittenhouse rifle and sent it into the hall, trying to demonstrate the danger of firearms. Kyle said this behavior violated gun handling.
On November 19, a jury found the young man innocent of all charges. The teenager was charged with six counts, including first-degree murder. The maximum term is life imprisonment. Rittenhouse's defense insisted that the young man did not exceed the limits of permissible self-defense.
On August 26, 2020, a video was published of a crowd of BLM activists pursuing 17-year-old Rittenhouse during the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. A young man armed with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle stumbled and fell, after which two demonstrators pounced on him. He opened fire, killed one of them and mortally wounded the second, also armed with a pistol.
