The use of sanctions against Russia demonstrates Washington's own weakness. This opinion was expressed by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova, TASS reports.
The diplomat noted that earlier the United States considered the policy of economic restrictions against Moscow to be a manifestation of force. She pointed out that the use of illegal means of influence in foreign policy and the refusal of legal opportunities speaks of the weakness of the American state, and this fact does not require additional evidence at the moment.
