Entrepreneur Yevnevich: Christmas trees have grown in price due to the high cost of procurement and logistics New Year trees have risen in price in Russia. According to her, this is due to an increase in the cost of their purchases, Izvestia writes.
The entrepreneur named the purchase price of the trees as the reasons for the rise in prices for the trees. According to her, the size of the increase in value is determined by the specific retail network. Yevnevich said that in her business, the purchase price rose from five to percent, depending on the origin of the tree, its naturalness or artificiality, as well as size.
In addition, the Christmas trees have risen in price due to the high cost of their logistics. At the same time, imports also increased in price due to the exchange rate.
“The price varies greatly. Christmas trees 30 centimeters in size will cost about 200 rubles, and 4-meter trees – 20-something thousand. It all depends on whether the tree is natural or artificial. A Russian natural tree will cost less than an Austrian or Danish one. In large cities, you can find a Christmas tree in any price segment, “Yevnevich concluded.
Earlier, Russians were warned about the rise in prices for New Year trees.
