The government of Moldova recalls Ambassador to Russia
Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs and European integration, Daniela Morari, who presented the draft decision did not explain the reasons for the recall of a diplomat.
CHISINAU, March 1. /Offset. TASS Benjamin Demidetski/. The government of Moldova withdraws from the post of Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Braghis, who also headed the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Tajikistan.
This decision was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The draft decision was presented by the Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs and European integration, Daniela Morari, which is not explained the reasons for the recall of a diplomat.
The press service of the foreign Ministry also refused to comment on it. According to the local legislation, this decision must be approved by the President of Moldova Igor Dodon.
Braghis held the post of Ambassador to Russia and Tajikistan from 27 November 2015. From 1999 to 2001, he headed the government under President Peter luchyns’ke.
