Yulia Samoilova explained the failure at the Eurovision song contest
MOSCOW, may 12 — RIA Novosti. Russian singer Yulia Samoylova, who failed to reach the final of the international song contest Eurovision in Lisbon commented.
“I know my schools, I see a lot of errors. And it’s not just like: I didn’t,” said the singer in the program “Let them talk” on channel one.
Samoilov also thanked viewers for their support, noting that he sees the result of any political motive. According to her, before the finals not reached many strong performers.
The second semi-final of the song contest took place in Lisbon on Thursday. Samoilova made under the sixth number with the song “I Won’t Break”. The singer did not have enough votes of the audience and a professional jury to go through to the final.
Julia Samoylova was supposed to perform at the Eurovision song contest in 2017 in Kiev, however, the SBU has banned the singer from entering Ukraine because of the performances in the Crimea.
