Unusual light poles photographed in China

In the area of Kanas Lake in the Altai Mountains in northwestern China, eyewitnesses photographed unique light poles radiating multicolored rays from behind the treetops.

These light pillars looked more like the Northern lights or a multicolored fan than the usual vertical “spotlights” that can be seen in winter in the northern regions.

Recall that light poles can be observed in frosty weather, when light from natural or artificial light sources is reflected from ice crystals in the atmosphere.

Previously , similar light poles were observed in Komsomolsk-on-Amur and in Estonia.
